Allied Health Assistants (AHA)

At MyRecovery, our skilled Allied Health Assistant (AHA) can be incorporated into your therapy plan to optimise funding and benefit from regular sessions. Our AHAs support tasks and activities, maintain documentation, educate families, and ensure coordinated care.

Incorporating our AHA into your therapy plan at MyRecovery offers numerous benefits. By working in collaboration with your primary clinician, our an AHA can help optimise your funding and ensure more regular therapy sessions, leading to improved outcomes.

To ensure effective coordination, your assigned clinician will conduct an assessment with activities and sessions supported by an AHA. This approach enables the clinician to monitor and track the progress of your treatment program.

Our AHAs will  implement therapy sessions based on the prescriptions of qualified therapists, focusing on goal-oriented programs that target physical, cognitive, and psycho-social goals. They will also maintain thorough progress notes and documentation, develop your resources, and liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Our AHAs also deliver education not only our clients but also their families and caregivers, empowering them to actively participate in the recovery process.

Please note that referrals for support from an Allied Health Assistant at MyRecovery must be made through a supervising clinician. If you're interested in utilising our AHAs for specific disciplines, such as speech pathology or dietetics, please ensure to send a referral for the corresponding discipline.

At MyRecovery, our commitment to excellence is unwavering. Our team of AHAs works closely with our clinicians as part of our Multidisciplinary Allied Health team, dedicated to helping you achieve your recovery goals and overall well-being.
